Watch: GoPro captures terrifying collision between bike and car in Gurgaon

A young rider was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a car driving in the wrong direction on Golf Course Road near Belvedere Park, DLF Phase II, in Gurgaon. The shocking visuals of the accident were captured in a GoPro camera worn by his friend. 

The accident was captured on a camera mounted on a bike ridden by his friend, who was a few meters behind him. The deceased has been identified as Akshat Garg, a native of Delhi. 

According to police, the 23-year-old was wearing full safety gear, including a helmet and gloves, at the time of the incident, which happened around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday. His friend was following him at a distance of a few feet. Akshat's motorcycle was completely damaged in the collision.

Locals rushed the youth to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The car involved in the incident was identified as a Mahindra XUV 300, which was travelling in the wrong lane at the time of the accident. Passengers in the car were apprehended by locals and handed over to the police.
