Mumbai: Renowned YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, popularly known as Flying Beast, has recently found himself at the centre of swirling divorce rumours involving his wife, Ritu Rathee. The speculation intensified because Ritu has not appeared on Gaurav's YouTube channel for a long time, leading fans to wonder about the state of their marriage.
Controversy escalates with video leak
The controversy escalated when a purported video featuring a voice similar to Ritu's began circulating, in which she was speaking to spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj. In the video, the woman discussed feelings of betrayal in her marriage and expressed her desire to focus on raising their two daughters and connecting spiritually. This sparked widespread speculation and prompted discussions in the comments section of Gaurav's vlogs.
Adding fuel to the fire, an old clip of Gaurav discussing extramarital affairs after becoming a parent resurfaced, leading many to speculate about issues in his marriage.
Gaurav breaks his silence
In response to the growing debate, Gaurav broke his silence on social media with an Instagram post, conveying his thoughts on the matter. He wrote, “Joi Joi pyaaro kare, soi mohe bhave,” which translates to, "Those who love me, I love them back." He elaborated in the caption, stating, "I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. I am ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation."
He further urged his followers to refrain from making assumptions about his private life: "Please stop making any assumptions. Men are made villains very quickly. We don’t cry; we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that. Social media is not a place to discuss family matters. I have nothing to say. Hopefully, everything will be sorted soon."
Despite the ongoing turmoil, Gaurav committed to continuing his work, stating, "I don’t feel like posting anything. But I have some commitments to fulfil, and this is my work. I will be posting some pre-recorded content. I can’t let others suffer due to my personal issues. So please excuse me for that."
