The Mumbai Police have reportedly registered an FIR against Austrian national Peter Haag, the husband of Bollywood actor and former beauty queen Celina Jaitly. As per an India Today report, the legal action follows a formal complaint lodged by Jaitly, alleging a pattern of severe physical abuse, cruelty, and criminal intimidation.

The case has been registered under Sections 85, 115(2), 351(2), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), relating to allegations of cruelty, voluntarily causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and intentional insult.

Due to Haag’s reported refusal to engage with the ongoing investigation, authorities have issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against him.

As per PTI reports, Jaitly has sought financial relief, including a monthly maintenance amount of Rs 10 lakh and a one-time compensation of Rs 50 crore. She has also raised concerns over child custody, alleging that Haag has obstructed her relationship with their children, who are currently living with him in Austria, and is seeking a judicial order to ensure unhindered virtual and telephonic access to them.
