Defamation case: Gujarat HC refuses to stay Rahul Gandhi's conviction

Wrestlers' sexual harassment case: Delhi court summons Brij Bhushan on July 18

A Delhi court on Friday summoned BJP MP and outgoing WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in a case of alleged sexual harassment of women wrestlers and said there was sufficient evidence to proceed against the accused. KM Vasudevan Namboothiri (98), popularly known as Artist Namboothiri, who skillfully portrayed the essence of Malayalam and Kerala life through his distinctive artistic style, passed away on Friday. at 12.10 am. He was admitted to Kottakkal Aster Mims hospital. Read more

A case of a rare brain infection caused by a free-living amoebae living in contaminated waters was reported in the coastal district of Alappuzha in Kerala, a government release said here on Friday.
