Delhi Police arrests seven alleged shooters linked to Lawrence Bishnoi gang

New Delhi: In a major operation against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested at least seven suspected shooters who were allegedly planning a targeted attack in Rajasthan, officials reported on Friday.

Context of Arrests
These arrests follow the shocking murder of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique in Mumbai on October 12. The Bishnoi gang has since claimed responsibility for the high-profile killing.

Details of the Operation
The authorities indicated that the suspects were apprehended in Punjab and other states, with a substantial cache of arms and ammunition recovered. The investigation suggests that the individuals were acting under the direction of Arzoo Bishnoi, a close associate of the incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

An officer stated that the accused are currently undergoing further interrogation. Authorities will also investigate any potential links between the suspects and the attack on Baba Siddique.
