CJP to hold 'people's tribunal' in Bengaluru; Dhruv Rathee, Abhijeet Dipke, Prakash Raj among attendees

Bengaluru: Actor-activist Prakash Raj on Wednesday announced that a "people's tribunal" will be held in Bengaluru on October 8, bringing together individuals across Karnataka who claim to be affected by the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Prakash Raj, a prominent critic of the SIR process, took to social media to share details about the upcoming event, which will feature Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee among its key attendees.
"People's Tribunal by Cockroaches (Cockroach Janata Party)..Dipke...Ashuthosh.. Sourav and all the youth organisations and the civil society...the victims of SIR from across the state will be present."
"Requesting all the citizens to participate in this fight to save our democracy. Come join us tomorrow, 8th October at Freedom Park... Bengaluru," he said.
In an accompanying video, Prakash Raj confirmed that influencer Dhruv Rathee would join the gathering at Freedom Park. Dhruv also uploaded a video on his X account confirming his participation in the programme.
