Who was behind the attack on Abhijeet Dipke? CJP founder points to RSS
Nagpur: Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday alleged that people associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh were behind the attack on him during a protest in Jaipur.
He claimed the incident was intended to divert attention from the NEET (UG) paper leak issue and suppress student voices demanding accountability.
Dipke links attack to political motives
Speaking after arriving in Nagpur ahead of a planned protest, Dipke alleged that individuals connected to the RSS were involved in the attack.
According to him, such actions are often directed at those who speak against the government or its ideology. However, he did not provide evidence to support the allegation.
Attack occurred during Jaipur protest
The incident took place during a protest in Jaipur on Monday, where Dipke was allegedly slapped multiple times by two men while being carried on the shoulders of supporters.
Police later detained two youths in connection with the incident and launched further inquiries into the matter.
Says student issues remain the priority
Dipke maintained that the attack would not distract him or his organisation from raising concerns about the NEET (UG) paper leak controversy.
He said the focus would remain on what he described as injustice faced by more than one crore students and reiterated his demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Calls for peaceful protest in Nagpur
The CJP founder appealed to students and young people to participate in a peaceful demonstration at Samvidhan Square in Nagpur.
He said the movement would continue through democratic and non-violent means, drawing inspiration from the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr B.R. Ambedkar. Authorities have put extensive security arrangements in place for the protest, with police expecting more than 2,000 participants.
Security has been strengthened across key locations in Nagpur to maintain law and order during the demonstration. The Cockroach Janta Party has been campaigning over the NEET (UG) paper leak controversy and has repeatedly demanded accountability from the Centre.
The latest protest is aimed at pressing for action against those responsible and seeking the resignation of the education minister over the issue.
