Inspired by Dora-Buji, two little ones set out on exploration; auto driver brings them back

Amballur (Ernakulam): Apparently taking inspiration from the famous cartoon characters Dora and Buji, two fourth grade kids set out on an exploration trip on their own that too from their school. However, they were spotted and handed over safely to their parents who had no clue about their wards’ adventure.
The incident took place in Amballur on Wednesday evening. It was after school hours that the two friends went out for a walk. Then they boarded a private bus and explored around before finally reaching Amballur. By then they ran out of money.
They then went to an auto stand near Alagappa Polytechnic and hired an auto. When auto driver Kokkadan Jason enquired about their details, the duo delivered a cooked-up story that they were going to a nearby wedding venue and had no money with them.
Jason then agreed to drop them there. However, on their way Jason felt something was wrong with the two as they behaviour was not normal and both had no knowledge of the route.
Soon, he dialed up the phone number printed on their school ID cards and informed their parents. On getting their address, Jason himself took the children to their parents.
Meanwhile, the parents had reached the school as the children did not reach home.
