Woman found dead with stab wounds on neck at residence in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: A woman, identified as Athira (30) from Venjaramoodu here, was found dead with stab wounds at her residence around 11.30 am.

The incident came to light when her husband, who had left home for a temple ritual around 5.30 am, returned home, only to find her lifeless body. The crime is believed to have occurred after 8.30 am, as Athira was at home after sending her son to school.

Kadinamkulam Police has launched a search for the suspect, a man from Ernakulam whom Athira had reportedly met through Instagram. Police suspect the attacker climbed over the wall to gain entry into the house. After committing the murder, the assailant fled the scene on Athira's scooter.
