Pathanamthitta sexual abuse case: 6 minors, including girls, accused; probe on

Pathanamthitta, Kerala: The police have initiated a formal investigation following a complaint regarding the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old female student. The matter came to light during a recent counseling session conducted at her school.

Following the disclosure by the Class 9 girl, the police were notified of the situation. Based on the information provided, a case has been registered under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act. As per the complaint, her classmates subjected her to sexual assault.

Six minors, including girls, have been accused and are currently the subject of the investigation. Reports indicate that the abuse took place both at the school and at the residence of one of the accused girls. Police are working to gather further information based on child’s statement.
