Migrant labourer stabs estranged wife in Changanassery

Changanassery: In a revengeful act, a young migrant worker here stabbed his estranged wife for living with another person.
The incident took place at around 2 pm on Sunday at a bus stand on Vazhoor Road in Changanacherry.
Madhuja Baruva (25), a native of Dhemaji in Assam, brutally attacked his estranged wife Mosini Goyal (22) with a knife while she was going home from the town. The seriously injured woman has been taken to the Medical College Hospital where she is recuperating.
Meanwhile, the accused has been handed over to the cops by the local residents.
Madhuja is employed in a private boat in Ernakulam. The young woman, who had left him some time ago, has started living with another migrant worker at Fathimapuram here.
The accused is also admitted to the Medical College Hospital as he had also sustained an injury on his hand while attacking the woman.
