Man arrested for indecent exposure on bus

Kozhikode: A medical college student was subjected to indecent exposure on a bus travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kozhikode. The culprit, identified as Shamsudheen (52), native of Palakkad, was apprehended by the Kasaba Police.

The incident took place during the early hours of Monday. Shamsudheen, who was travelling from Guruvayur to Kozhikode, allegedly flashed on the young woman as the bus passed through the Meenchanda bypass junction.

Following the inappropriate behaviour, the young woman immediately informed the bus conductor. The bus was then directed to the Kozhikode City Police Control Room, where Kasaba police took Shamsudheen into custody. The young woman provided the police with a video recorded on her mobile phone as evidence. A case was registered based on the student's complaint. Shamsudheen was released on bail after his arrest.
