'Is Siya having an affair? She keeps talking about Chetan': Ketan Agarwal told father, says probe

Days after the shocking murder of Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal, the police investigation has revealed that the victim had repeatedly expressed concerns about his fiancée, Siya Goyal, and even questioned whether she was involved in a relationship with another man.
According to the FIR, Ketan had asked his father, Vishal Agarwal, on three separate occasions whether Goyal's background had been properly verified before their marriage.
Each time, he was assured that the family had thoroughly checked her credentials through a common relative, Narendra Mittal, who had introduced the marriage proposal.
The engagement between Ketan and Goyal was held in Pune in February after both families agreed to the match, partly because they were connected through extended family ties.
Investigators say Ketan's first doubts surfaced soon after the engagement, when he quietly asked his father if Siya's background had truly been verified. His father reassured him that there was nothing to worry about.
The second conversation reportedly took place before the couple's planned pre-wedding trip to Indonesia, after Ketan's passport went missing.
During the discussion, Ketan told his father that Goyal frequently argued over trivial matters and once again questioned whether enough checks had been carried out before the engagement.
According to police sources, Ketan voiced his strongest concerns after the couple returned from a visit to Lohagad Fort in May.
He reportedly told his father that Goyal’s phone was often busy whenever he called and that she frequently mentioned Chaudhary during their conversations. He then directly asked whether she was having an affair.
Despite his repeated concerns, Vishal Agarwal again assured his son that Goyal belonged to their extended family and that her background had been verified through Mittal, asking him not to worry.
The revelations have emerged as investigators continue to probe the alleged murder conspiracy, in which Goyal and co-accused Chaudhary have been named as the prime accused.
