Indian woman found murdered in Toronto flat; partner hunted by police

Toronto: An Indian woman, identified as Himanshi Khurana, was found murdered inside her Toronto flat, Canadian police said on Wednesday, as authorities launched a search for her partner, Abdul Ghafoor.
Himanshi, 30, a resident of Toronto, was reported missing on the night of December 19. According to a statement issued by Toronto Police, officers conducted a search and discovered her body at her residence the following morning at around 6:30 am.
Police have confirmed that her death is being treated as a homicide. A Toronto Police spokesperson said Himanshi and Abdul Ghafoor, 32, were in a relationship, and Ghafoor is currently being sought in connection with the murder. He is also believed to be a Toronto resident.
Authorities have released a photograph of Abdul Ghafoor and urged the public to share any information that could assist in locating him. The investigation remains ongoing.
