Digital fraud: Bigg Boss star Blesslee arrested from TVM International Airport

Vadakara: In a digital fraud case, YouTuber and Bigg Boss star Muhammad Diligent Blesslee has been arrested. He was later taken into custody by Kakkur Police, led by Kozhikode District Crime Branch DySP V V Benny, from the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

Blesslee was arrested the other day in connection with a fraud centred around Koduvally in Kozhikode, where lakhs of rupees were allegedly swindled through online means after promising jobs. Two persons arrested earlier in the case are currently in judicial custody.

The investigation has found that money obtained through the fraud was transferred using mule accounts. The Crime Branch has been conducting an investigation into the incident for the past three months.

The investigation team has stated that several more individuals from different parts of the state are likely to be taken into custody in connection with similar frauds. There are also indications that around eight suspects, believed to be involved in the case, have fled abroad.

Police have taken Blesslee into custody for detailed questioning. After being remanded by the Kozhikode court, he will be produced before the court again on Wednesday following interrogation.

The District Crime Branch registered the case and began the investigation in June.
