Sexual assault complaint filed against Balachandra Menon by actress

Kochi: A complaint of sexual assault has been filed against actor and director Balachandra Menon. The allegations were made by an actress from Aluva and have been submitted to a special investigation team, with the case also forwarded to the Director General of Police (DGP).

Allegations of Harassment During Filming
The complaint claims that the harassment occurred during the filming of the movie De Ingottu Nokkiye, directed by Menon. According to the allegations, Menon summoned the actress to the shooting location and subsequently assaulted her in a hotel.

Fear Prevented Timely Reporting
The actress revealed that fear was the reason she did not report the incident sooner. Notably, she is the same actress who previously filed a complaint against actor Mukesh.

Menon's Complaint
Balachandra Menon earlier lodged a complaint with the DGP against the actress making the allegations. He accuses her of defaming him on social media, along with a complaint against the actress’s lawyer. In an interview with an online media outlet, the actress detailed her allegations against Menon. He contends in his complaint that the actress's intent was to defame him and that appropriate action should be taken regarding this matter.
