Horror in Bengaluru: Mother of four found dead, wrapped in bedsheet inside autorickshaw

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident in Bengaluru’s Tilaknagar area, 35-year-old Salma, a mother of four who had recently lost her husband, was discovered dead inside a stationary autorickshaw on Saturday afternoon. Locals spotted the vehicle on the main road around 4 pm and alerted the police.
Preliminary police investigations suggest that Salma may have been murdered by someone known to her. Officials suspect she was struck on the head before her body was wrapped in a bedsheet and placed inside the autorickshaw. Police believe the perpetrator fled the scene immediately after abandoning the vehicle.
A police official said, “We suspect the involvement of someone familiar to the victim. We have obtained some clues and are confident of making an arrest soon.” Officers from the Tilaknagar police station, along with a forensic team, conducted an initial inspection at the scene.
The body was sent to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to track the movements of the suspect.
