New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the world’s highest railway bridge the iconic Chenab Bridge on June 6, marking a historic milestone for India’s railway infrastructure.
Part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project, the bridge is situated in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and connects the Katra–Sangaldan stretch, enabling direct rail connectivity between New Delhi and the Kashmir Valley for the first time.
