Vijay Deverakonda marries Rashmika Mandanna in intimate Udaipur wedding

Vijay Deverakonda ties the knot with Rashmika Mandanna, marking a new chapter in his journey.
Actor Vijay Deverakonda has entered a new phase in his personal life after marrying fellow actor Rashmika Mandanna in an intimate wedding ceremony held on February 26.
The ceremony, described as elegant and understated, took place in Udaipur, with close family members and friends in attendance. The wedding was followed by celebrations that blended tradition with a modern aesthetic, reflecting the couple’s public personas.
At 36, Deverakonda stands as one of Indian cinema’s most unconventional and influential stars. Known for his intense screen presence and fearless choice of roles, he has consistently challenged the traditional image of the Telugu film hero while building a strong pan-India following.
Born on May 9, 1989, in Hyderabad, Deverakonda initially pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree before turning to theatre and films. His early career included supporting roles in Nuvvila and Life Is Beautiful, where he began gaining attention for his natural acting style.
His breakthrough came with Pelli Choopulu, a sleeper hit that won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. Nationwide recognition followed with Arjun Reddy, a polarising film that transformed him into a household name across India.
Deverakonda went on to deliver major commercial successes, including Geetha Govindam, where he starred opposite Mandanna, and Dear Comrade, which highlighted his emotional range as an actor.
His Bollywood debut with Liger underlined his ambition to expand his reach beyond regional cinema.
Following the wedding, the couple hosted a grand reception on March 4 in Hyderabad, attended by members of the film industry, close associates and family, drawing widespread attention from fans across the country.
Away from the screen, Deverakonda is set to begin a new chapter in his personal life. He is scheduled to marry Rashmika Mandanna on February 26 in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur, with a grand reception planned for March 4 in Hyderabad.
