Actor-turned-politician Vijay reached the party headquarters of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam in Chennai and greeted enthusiastic supporters following the latest developments in the Tamil Nadu Assembly election results.

The 2026 election has marked a major political shift in the state, with TVK emerging as the single largest party with around 107 seats, although it remains short of the 118-seat majority mark required to form government.

With the party falling just below the halfway mark, attention has now turned to post-poll alliances and negotiations, as discussions continue on whether TVK can secure outside support to form the government or whether Tamil Nadu will head towards a hung assembly
