‘I truly enjoy this service’: TN banker helps Police manage traffic in free time

Tiruvottiyur, Tamil Nadu: A bank employee in Tiruvottiyur has been volunteering to assist local police in managing traffic, demonstrating a rare commitment to public service beyond his professional duties.

Satyanarayanan, deputy manager at IndusInd Bank, said he dedicates his off days and free time to help the police control traffic in the busy streets of the town.

"I have only limited knowledge and am still learning, as it is a long process. I am comfortable with and truly enjoy doing this service," he added.

Residents and local authorities have praised his initiative, noting that his presence helps ease congestion during peak hours.
