Odisha forest officials bust illegal wildlife trade, rescue 761 turtles worth Rs 7 lakh | WATCH

In Odisha’s Malkangiri district, the Forest Department seized 761 turtles at the Motu check post in Kalimela during a raid based on secret information. The consignment, weighing around 2,305 kg and valued at about Rs 7 lakh, was found in a Bolero vehicle coming from Andhra Pradesh. A suspected wildlife smuggling network has been indicated, with the main accused absconding and investigation underway.
