Gulmarg sees tourist surge as fresh snowfall delights visitors

Gulmarg is currently experiencing snowfall, festivities, and nonstop excitement.

As the calendar turns, families and friends from across the country have chosen this hill resort in Kashmir not for noise or novelty, but for the simple pleasure of winter at its purest.

According to a tourist named Nandini, "We are enjoying a lot. We have come here with the whole family. No, this is my first time.It’s a very good experience. I’m really enjoying it a lot."

Many have used the snowfall as justification to stay longer and enjoy the occasion a bit more.

Meanwhile, a tourist from Punjab: "It’s snowing... so much fun! We didn’t think it would snow at first, and since morning we’ve been enjoying it a lot. We don’t feel like going back to Punjab at all. So yes, it’s really fun. Everyone should come to Kashmir. Enjoy to the fullest. And may the New Year 2026 be very good for all of you, and may you all move forward in life."
