Rajasthan road accident: Five wedding-bound passengers die in Dausa crash

Five people lost their lives in a road accident after a car hit a divider and collided with a trailer truck on National Highway-21 in Rajasthan’s Dausa district on Tuesday night.

The mishap occurred near Reta village when the car allegedly lost control, struck the divider and crossed over to the opposite carriageway. A trailer truck moving in that lane then rammed into the car, police said.

Four occupants in the car were killed on the spot, while another person succumbed to injuries during treatment at a hospital in Jaipur.

The victims have been identified as Lokesh, Dilkhush, Manish, Ankit and Samay Singh, all hailing from Kalakho village. They were on their way to attend a wedding ceremony when the accident took place.

One injured person was shifted to Jaipur for treatment.
