AIIMS in Kerala: Suresh Gopi praises UDF’s land commitment

Union Minister Suresh Gopi praised the positive attitude of the present UDF-led Kerala government and emphasised that the previous LDF government should have adopted a similar attitude regarding the establishment of AIIMS in Kerala. Reacting to the Kerala Health Minister’s statement that the UDF government is willing to provide land for an AIIMS anywhere in the state, Gopi welcomed the move and said such cooperation is essential to bringing the premier healthcare institution to Kerala, stressing that political differences should not stand in the way of development and public welfare.
