Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated action entertainer 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' is already making headlines beyond the big screen, with its digital rights locked even before the film completes its theatrical journey. The makers have reportedly partnered with Netflix, ensuring a wide digital release once the cinema run concludes.

The film, directed by Harish Shankar, marks his second collaboration with Pawan Kalyan after their earlier successful outing. With strong pre-release buzz and mass appeal, the project has secured a lucrative OTT deal, underlining the actor’s consistent pull across platforms.

According to industry reports, the streaming premiere will follow a five-week theatrical window. Producer Naveen Yerneni, during a pre-release media interaction, indicated that the film will adhere to this standard timeline.

If everything proceeds as planned, 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' is expected to make its OTT debut around April 24, 2026. The film is also likely to be available in multiple languages, expanding its reach beyond regional audiences.

Meanwhile, the film’s initial reception has been mixed. Social media reactions suggest a divide among viewers. While a section of fans has celebrated it as a full-fledged commercial entertainer, praising its mass elements and nostalgic appeal, others have criticised it for lacking freshness.

Some viewers pointed out issues with narrative flow and felt the film leaned heavily on familiar tropes without offering anything new.

Despite the contrasting reviews, the film has demonstrated strong traction in advance bookings. Trade reports indicate that over 2.6 lakh tickets were sold across India ahead of release, with pre-sales collections nearing Rs 6.75 crore, excluding blocked seats. This suggests solid opening-day momentum, particularly among Pawan Kalyan’s fan base.

'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' also features a notable supporting cast, including Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. Veteran actors such as KS Ravikumar, R Parthiban, Gautami, and Rao Ramesh play key roles, adding depth to the ensemble.

With its theatrical performance underway and OTT plans already in motion, the film is poised to continue drawing attention across both cinema halls and streaming platforms.
