Actor and director Rajesh Madhavan marries Deepthi Karat

Kasaragod: Rajesh Madhavan, actor, director and casting director, has tied the knot. His love story, which began on film sets, has now culminated in marriage. The bride, Deepthi Karat, is an assistant director and production designer.  

Deepthi was the assistant director of Nna Thaan Case Kodu, the film that brought Rajesh Madhavan widespread recognition in the mainstream Malayalam film industry.

Rajesh hails from Kolathur in Kasaragod, while Deepthi is from Palakkad. Rajesh began his career in cinema as a production controller and made his acting debut with a small role in Maheshinte Prathikaaram. He later worked as an assistant director in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. Over the years, he has acted in numerous films and worked as a casting director.

Some of his notable performances include roles in Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham, 18+, Neelavelicham, and Minnal Murali. He is currently preparing for his directorial debut with the film Pennum Porattum.

Deepthi has worked as an assistant director on projects such as Indian Police Force, Dahaad, Sitara, Across the Ocean, and Careful. Additionally, she served as the production designer for the movie Trithiya.
