Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has found herself at the centre of intense speculation after reports emerged that she is expecting her first child with husband and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.
While the couple has remained silent on the rumours, a recent remark by ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ director BV Nandini Reddy has added fresh fuel to the conversation.
Speaking about Samantha’s current phase, Reddy appeared to acknowledge the reports, saying, 'Her pregnancy comes at a beautiful time, as our film, Maa Inti Bangaaram has become a success.'
The comment has since gone viral, with fans interpreting it as the strongest indication yet that the actress is preparing for motherhood.
The speculation first gained traction after Samantha attended the success celebrations of ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’, where social media users pointed to what they believed was a visible baby bump.
Since then, discussion around the actress's personal life has only intensified.
The timing has coincided with a major professional high for Samantha. ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’, which was written by Nidimoru and co-produced by the couple, has emerged as a box-office success, reportedly grossing over ₹46 crore worldwide.
The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami and Sreemukhi in pivotal roles.
Amid the pregnancy buzz, an earlier comment by Nidimoru about Samantha’s dedication to her craft has also resurfaced online.
Praising her work ethic, he had said, 'She’s a hungry and self-made actor. I haven’t seen her early works, but I know the adulation she got and the stardom she has enjoyed over many years.'
Nidimoru had also spoken about Samantha’s constant desire to evolve as a performer, noting, 'She’s constantly aware and wanting to change, improve, and find new ways to act out the scenes.'
Though the actress and Nidimoru have yet to make an official announcement, Reddy’s remark has ensured that the pregnancy rumours remain firmly in the spotlight.
