Dhanush apologises to fans who were denied entry at 'OM' audio launch; takes full responsibility

Actor Dhanush has apologised to fans who were unable to attend the audio launch of his upcoming film, 'OM: Chapter 1 – Udhiram: The Blood Wood', despite holding valid entry passes. Taking responsibility for the incident, the actor said he would ensure that such a situation did not arise at future events.
The audio launch, held on Friday at Sairam Engineering College in Chennai, drew thousands of fans eager to see Dhanush and the film's other cast members. However, the large turnout led to crowd management issues, leaving several pass holders disappointed as they were denied entry to the venue.
After learning about the incident, Dhanush addressed the disappointed fans through a post on X. Expressing his regret in Tamil, the actor acknowledged that many people who had secured passes were unable to enter the venue.
"It pains me deeply that thousands of fans who had tickets in hand were unable to get in and had to turn back," he wrote.
The audio launch was held as a grand celebration of the film, with music lovers and cinema fans gathering in large numbers. The atmosphere at Sairam Engineering College was filled with excitement as audiences came together to celebrate the upcoming release.
Apart from Dhanush, the event was attended by Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela. Director Rajkumar Periasamy, producer Shraddha Agarwal of RTake Studios and music composer Sai Abhyankkar were also present, along with other members of the film's team.
