Rasha Thadani’s Tollywood debut with Mahesh Babu’s nephew: AB4 announcement goes viral

Rasha Thadani is officially stepping into Telugu cinema. Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his intense storytelling in RX 100, has announced that Rasha—daughter of Bollywood star Raveena Tandon—will make her Tollywood debut in his upcoming love story.
On Monday, the filmmaker shared the news along with a striking picture of Rasha leaning against a bike in a casual, rugged look.
“Make way for the Gorgeous & Talented #RashaThadani into Telugu Cinema. Stay tuned to witness her magnetic screen presence and performance in #'AB4',” he wrote on X, signalling a strong, impactful launch for the young actor.
The yet-untitled film, referred to as 'AB4', will also introduce Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, Mahesh Babu’s nephew and the late Ramesh Babu’s son, making it a double-debut project.
Bhupathi had earlier announced Jaya Krishna’s casting, describing the film as a “raw, intense and realistic love story” set against the backdrop of the hills.
'AB4' will be presented by Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Films and Swapna Cinema, and produced by Gemini Kiran under Chandamama Kathalu Pictures, indicating a strong backing for the newcomers.
Rasha’s Journey So Far
Rasha made her silver-screen debut earlier this year with the Hindi film ‘Azaad’, starring opposite Aaman Devgan.
Her shift to Telugu cinema marks a major milestone, especially under a director known for launching impactful performers. Bhupathi’s debut film ‘RX 100’(2018) turned leads Karthikeya and Payal Rajput into overnight sensations.
He followed it with Maha Samudram (2021) and Mangalavaaram (2023), the latter making waves for its bold themes.
With 'AB4', all eyes are now on Rasha as she takes her first step into the South Indian film industry with what promises to be an intense and unconventional love story.
