Veteran actress Pravina Deshpande passes away at 60

Veteran Indian actress Pravina Deshpande has passed away at the age of 60 after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer she had been fighting since 2019.
The news of her demise was confirmed by her family through an emotional message on her official social media account on February 17, 2026, leaving the entertainment world in deep sorrow.
Deshpande, a versatile performer with a career spanning several decades, was widely respected for her supporting roles in both Hindi and Marathi cinema, television serials, and digital platforms.
She breathed her last in Mumbai, where her final rites were conducted later that afternoon at a Hindu crematorium in Chakala Parsiwada, Andheri East.
