‘Toxic’ OTT release: When and where to watch Yash’s film online

Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ has finally arrived in cinemas, bringing the actor back to the big screen after the success of the ‘KGF’ franchise. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the action drama has attracted considerable attention for its scale, star cast and reported budget.
According to a Filmibeat report, ZEE5 has reportedly acquired the digital and satellite rights to ‘Toxic’ in a deal said to be worth around Rs 235 crore across languages.
The reported deal has added another talking point to the film's business. However, there is an important catch. Neither the makers nor the streaming platform has officially confirmed the reported OTT deal or announced a digital release date yet.
So, while ZEE5 is currently being reported as the likely streaming home for ‘Toxic’, viewers will have to wait for an official announcement before treating it as confirmed.
‘Toxic’ opened in theatres on August 26, 2026. At present, there is no confirmed OTT premiere date.
The film is expected to have an exclusive theatrical run before making its way to streaming. Big-ticket releases generally spend several weeks in cinemas before arriving on OTT, although the exact gap can vary depending on the film, its theatrical performance and the terms of its streaming agreement.
If ‘Toxic’ follows a four to eight-week theatrical window, its digital release could potentially fall within that period. However, this is only an estimate and not an officially announced streaming timeline.
‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ features Yash in a dual role, with Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. Geetu Mohandas has directed the film.
