‘CTRL’ to ‘Do Patti’: OTT’s upcoming exciting titles in October

CTRL
Ananya Panday is gearing up for yet another OTT release with ‘CTRL’, a Netflix original film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Written by Avinash Sampat, the film’s dialogue has been penned by renowned comedian-actor Sumukhi Suresh. Ananya will be seen alongside actor Vihaan Samat.
‘CTRL’ is a story about a social media influencer couple - Nella and Joe, and how Artificial Intelligence (AI) disrupts their life. ‘CTRL’ will premiere on the streaming giant on October 4.
Manvat Murders
Starring filmmaker-actor Ashutosh Gowariker, ‘Manvat Murders’ is an upcoming crime thriller series which will premiere on Sony LIV on October 4. The series is based on real-life detective Ramakant S Kulkarni’s autobiography, titled ‘Footprints on the Sand of Crime’.
Directed by Ashish Bende, ‘Manvat Murders’ will feature Ashutosh in detective Ramakant’s role, and will revolve around the gruesome serial killings that took place in Maharashtra in the 1970s.
Raat Jawaan Hai
Available for streaming on Sony LIV from October 11, ‘Raat Jawaan Hai’ marks the directorial debut of actor-writer Sumeet Vyas. Starring Anjali Anand, Barun Sobti, and Priya Bapat as the leading actors, the story revolves around three best friends - Radhika, Avinash, and Suman. ‘Raat Jawaan Hai’ takes on an adventurous ride when these three best friends get on their wildest adventure together - of raising kids.
Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives
The fabulous wives of Bollywood - Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Sajdeh, and Bhavna Panday are returning to Netflix on October 18. But this time, they aren’t alone! The four best friends will be joined by Delhi’s women from the high-society including Riddhima Kapoor, sister of Ranbir Kapoor. Titled ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’, the series promises to deliver more drama than before.
Do Patti
After ‘Tribhanga’ and ‘The Trial’, Kajol is once again gearing up to entertain the audience on the OTT with her upcoming thriller ‘Do Patti’. Co-starring Kriti Sanon, who is making her OTT as well as production debut, ‘Do Patti’ is gearing up for its premiere on Netflix on October 25. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the suspense thriller is written by Kanika Dhillon, who has also co-produced it with Sanon. The title will also feature actors Shaheer Sheikh, Tanvi Azmi, and Brijendra Kala in pivotal roles.
