Upcoming Malayalam action drama Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is set to release in more than 100 countries, marking one of the widest global releases ever for a Malayalam-language film.

The international rollout is the result of a distribution deal between India’s Reel World Entertainment and global distributor The Plot Pictures. The agreement will bring the film to audiences across the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, and more.

Touted as a major milestone for regional Indian cinema, Chatha Pacha has generated significant buzz for its bold concept and stylised execution. Set in the high-stakes world of WWE-style wrestling, the film blends emotionally charged storytelling with large-scale action.

The film features an ensemble cast including Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath. It is produced by Shihan Shoukath and Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan under the Reel World Entertainment banner. Chatha Pacha is directed by Adhvaith Nayar, the nephew of legendary actor Mohanlal, who has previously worked under acclaimed filmmakers such as Jeethu Joseph, Rajeev Ravi, and Mohanlal himself.

Adding to the excitement is the involvement of the renowned music director trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, who will be making their Malayalam debut with the film’s soundtrack. The film also boasts cinematography by Anend C. Chandran, action choreography by Kalai Kingson, lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar, and a background score composed by Mujeeb Majeed.
