Mumbai: Actress Alia Bhatt has strongly condemned the circulation of a video showing the interiors of her under-construction Bandra bungalow, calling it a blatant breach of privacy.

The actress took to Instagram to issue a heartfelt note, expressing her disappointment over the incident. “I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited — sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online,” Alia wrote. Check out the post below:

Calling the act both a “serious security issue” and “a clear invasion of privacy,” Alia urged media outlets and individuals to refrain from sharing such footage. “Filming or photographing someone’s personal space without permission is not ‘content’ — it’s a violation. It should never be normalized,” she added.

The Highway star also posed a question to her followers: “Would you tolerate videos of the inside of your home being shared publicly, without you knowing? None of us would.”

Alia appealed to the public to resist amplifying such content further and requested media platforms to remove the clips immediately. “To our friends in the media who have carried these images and videos: I urge you to take them down immediately. Thank you,” her post concluded.

The bungalow, named Krishna Raj after Ranbir Kapoor’s late grandmother, is nearing completion. Reports suggest the interiors are in their final stages, with the power couple expected to move in around Diwali this year.
