Newlywed actor Midhutty and his wife Parvathy have spoken out against negative comments they've received following their marriage. In an interview with a YouTube channel, the couple addressed the criticism, particularly around their age difference and physical appearances, asserting that such remarks hold no relevance to their relationship.

“There is a nine-year age difference between us — she’s 23 and I’m 32. But it has never felt like a problem,” Midhutty said. “No one has commented on our height difference either. It’s not an issue for us. Everyone has only wished us well and told us to live happily.”

Midhutty further dismissed the criticism, saying they don’t pay attention to what others say. “Why should we care about what other people think?” he asked.

“Ours was a love marriage. We were in a relationship for two years, and only our close friends knew about it,” said Parvathy.

She recalled how they first met in Thiruvananthapuram and gradually became friends. “One day, he asked me if I’d ever seen the Thrissur Pooram festival in person. I said I’d only seen it on TV. He suggested we go together next time. I didn’t realise at first that he was proposing,” she shared with a smile. "This year's Pooram took place before our marriage, so we hope to witness the next one together."

Midhutty rose to prominence through his villainous role as 'Kutty' in the film Aavesham, following attention gained from social media reels. His next film, Maine Pyaar Kiya, is set for release soon.

The couple’s candid remarks have resonated with many online, as they continue to navigate their new journey together while shutting down societal criticisms with grace.
