A video of actor Kunchacko Boban attending an inauguration with the support of a walking stick has gone viral on social media. The video, filmed during the event held in Kannur, had raised concerns among fans, who had questioned what happened to the actor.

The clip shows the actor walking carefully, with a bandage on his leg. He had arrived in Kannur for the inauguration of a jewellery store.

As the video gained traction online, fans began asking about the actor’s condition and the nature of his injury. Reports suggest that Kunchacko Boban injured his leg while playing badminton.

The actor was last seen on screen in the 2025 release “Officer on Duty”, directed by Jithu Ashraf in his directorial debut and written by Shahi Kabir. The film received positive reviews, with Kunchacko Boban earning widespread acclaim for his performance. The cast also includes Priyamani, Vishak Nair, and Jagadish in supporting roles.

He will be next seen in “Patriot”, directed by Mahesh Narayanan and starring Mohanlal and Mammootty in lead roles.

Meanwhile, the actor shared an update on one of his upcoming projects, the directorial debut of Kerala State Award-winning editor Kiran Das, tentatively titled Panorama Studios Production No. 3. The film’s screenplay is penned by Shahi Kabir, known for Nayattu.

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Lijomol Jose, Sudheesh, Shaju Sreedhar, Krishnapraba, Sibi Thomas, Sabumon, Arun Cherukavil, Vineeth Thattil, Unni Lalu, Nithin George, Kiran Peethambaran, Jolly Chirayath, Thankam Mohan, Sreekanth Murali, and Ganga Meera.
