Actor Akanksha Chamola made an emotional revelation on Lock Upp 2, confirming that she is bisexual after fellow contestant Shreya Kalra brought up the secret during the show. Speaking openly in front of hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan, Akanksha shared details about her past relationships with women and explained why she has always felt a strong emotional connection with them.

Her heartfelt confession left several contestants emotional, while the hosts praised her for speaking honestly about a deeply personal part of her life.

When asked about the secret revealed on the show, Akanksha confirmed that it was true.

She said, "Toh main shaadi se pehle bisexual thi. Mere relations rahe hain kuch ladkiyon ke saath. Bohot zyada intimate relations nahi rahe hain, but I have been in relations with a few females. And, bas, vohi hai, mujhe ladkiya pasand hain."

(Before I got married, I was bisexual. I was in relationships with a few women. They weren't extremely intimate relationships, but I have been involved with a few women. That's it. I like women.)

She went on to explain that she has always admired women and naturally feels drawn towards them. According to Akanksha, women have always represented comfort and emotional security in her life.

Speaking about why she connects so strongly with women, Akanksha reflected on her childhood experiences.

She said, "Main admire karti hoon. Main attract hoti hoon unki taraf. Bas, I think, mera voh safe space hai. Growing up, mujhe aisa lagta ki it's a very male-dominated world aur hamesha se aap mummy ki taraf jaate ho, bheno ki taraf jaate ho toh kahin na kahin voh ek comfort zone jo unse milta hai, I love that comfort."

(I admire women. I feel attracted to them. I think women have always been my safe space. Growing up, I felt that the world was very male-dominated, and you naturally turn to your mother or your sisters for comfort. That sense of warmth and security I found with women is something I have always loved.)

Akanksha added that she has always been drawn to feminine energy and has never understood the belief that women cannot genuinely support one another.

She said, "I love that feminine energy. I think I thrive in that. Jahan pe aise society main rehte hain na, log bolte hain 2 ladkiya kabhi dost nahi ho sakti, unke beech main hamesha koi na koi jealousy hota hai ya competition hota hai, mere main voh feeling hi nahi aati. Main hamesha, like, for me, all females are beautiful. Bas mere liye voh pyaar hi hai, ab aap usko jo bhi tag… It's a tag which society has given. For me, it's pure love."

(I love feminine energy. I think that's where I truly belong. People often say that two women can never be friends because there is always jealousy or competition between them, but I have never felt that way. To me, every woman is beautiful. What I feel is simply love. Society has given it different labels, but for me, it is just pure love.)

Akanksha's revelation moved several contestants, who were visibly emotional after hearing her story.

Hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan also applauded her for being honest about her journey. Farah hugged Akanksha as the actor became emotional while speaking.

During the conversation, Akanksha admitted that she had started questioning whether participating in Lock Upp 2 had been the right decision because many of her personal secrets had come out in public since the show began.

She was referring to an earlier episode in which she revealed that she and actor Gaurav Khanna are separated and are in the process of getting a divorce.
