However, the actor's recent health condition has raised concerns among his supporters, particularly during the promotional events for the film.

Reports suggest that Vishal has been grappling with health issues, yet he still attended the promotional activities for the movie. In a video circulating online, Vishal is seen speaking into a microphone, visibly shaking, which has led many fans to express their worry about his health. It has been reported that the actor is suffering from a high fever and tremors, which have been affecting his health, prompting a wave of concern from fans and well-wishers.

Despite his health challenges, Vishal's dedication to promoting the film has been evident. The actor, known for his commitment, is being praised for pushing through the discomfort to support the movie. Madha Gaja Raja, which is set to be one of Tamil cinema's major theatrical releases this year, is a long-awaited project for Vishal's fans. The film was originally scheduled for release in 2013, but due to financial issues, its release was delayed for over a decade. Directed by Sundar C, the movie is now set to release in theatres on January 12, 2025.

The film's first-look trailer and song were released in 2011, but the financial troubles kept pushing the release date further. In the meantime, both Vishal and Sundar C went on to work on several other successful projects.

The film stars Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the lead actresses, with Sonu Sood portraying the villain. Supporting roles are played by Sathish, and the late actors Mayilsami and Mano Bala. Vijay Antony has composed the music, and Vishal has also lent his voice to one of the songs in the film. Cinematography is by Richard M. Nathan, while editing is handled by Praveen K.L. and N.B. Srikanth.
