Mumbai: A viral moment from AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert sparked intense online chatter, but Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya are now setting the record straight and doing it loudly.

The buzz began after a video surfaced showing Tara on stage with AP Dhillon, where the two shared a warm hug and a friendly peck on the cheek. While the moment itself seemed lighthearted, it was Veer Pahariya’s reaction from the audience that stole the internet’s attention. Social media users were quick to speculate that he looked “uncomfortable,” fuelling rumours of tension in the couple’s relationship.

Now, both Tara and Veer have broken their silence and they’re clearly not amused.

Sharing a video from the concert on Instagram, Tara shut down the rumours with a strong message. “Loud and proud and in it together!!!” she wrote, calling AP Dhillon her favourite and thanking Mumbai for the love shown to their song. Taking aim at online speculation, she added, “False narratives, “clever editing” and paid PR campaigns by folks won’t and don’t shake us up! In the end, love and the truth always wins. So the joke’s on the bullies.”

Veer was equally direct. Responding in the comments, he revealed that his viral clip didn’t even belong to the moment fans thought it did. “Not to mention the reaction footage of me was taken during another song not even Thodi si daru,” he wrote, before adding bluntly, “Jokers.”

The couple, who reportedly began dating in 2025, have been under the spotlight since the early days of their relationship. Rumours first sparked when they were spotted spending time together privately. Their chemistry became harder to miss when they walked the ramp together as showstoppers at a fashion event in March. They later made their relationship official during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
