After the success of "Hridayam" and "Varshangalkku Shesham", actor-director-producer Vineeth Sreenivasan is teaming up once again with Vishak Subramaniam and Merryland Cinemas for a third film, this time in the thriller genre. Titled to be announced soon, the upcoming film marks Noble Babu Thomas in the lead role and is produced under the banners of Merryland Studios and Vineeth's Habit of Life. This will be Vineeth's return to production after "Anandam" and "Helen", both of which were well received.

Merryland's cinematic history with thrillers dates back to 1955 with "CID", the first-ever crime thriller in Malayalam cinema. Now, exactly seventy years later, the banner returns with another edge-of-the-seat thriller, this time with Vineeth Sreenivasan at the helm. Known for films rooted in themes of love, friendship, and family, Vineeth's foray into the thriller space has already raised high anticipation.

Shot on a grand scale, the film was extensively filmed across Georgia and along the borders of Russia and Azerbaijan. The team spent a full year on location scouting and pre-production, beginning in April 2024. Additional schedules were shot in Shimla and Chandigarh over five days, with just a single-day shoot in Kochi, Kerala.

The film, scheduled for theatrical release on September 25 as a Pooja release, will reveal its official title in the coming days. Cinematography is by Jomon T. John, while music is composed by Shaan Rahman. The film reunites the trio of Vineeth, Jomon, and Shaan after successful collaborations such as "Thattathin Marayathu", "Thira", and "Jacobinte Swargarajyam". Editing is by Ranjan Abraham.

The story and screenplay are penned by lead actor Noble Babu Thomas, who previously produced "Jacobinte Swargarajyam", co-wrote "Helen", and also appeared in a key role in the latter.
