Sujatha turns 60; Venugopal pens heart touching note, says Suju isn't affected by ego
As noted playback singer Sujatha Mohan celebrates 60th birthday on Friday, her close relative and popular singer G Venugopal has penned a beautiful note on social media extending birthday greetings.
Taking to Facebook, Venugopal wrote, “Suju is one of the singers who is not affected by ego issues at all. She clearly knows her strengths and limitations. I very well know Suju, who overcomes crises between recordings, stage shows and TV reality shows with ease and smile.”
Asserting that he has sung several songs with "baby Sujatha and her daughter baby Shweta", Venugopal expressed his desire to sing a song alongside Shewta’s daughter Sreshta.

“And we continue to sing in our 60s too. I believe that music can overcome age. Suju is enjoying the role of a grandma very much. Let Sreshta grow up. There is a grandpa waiting to hear her songs,” he added.
Sujatha, who made her debut as a playback singer with the song ‘Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu’ in 1975, is credited for numerous hit songs in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada among others.
