Tovino Thomas–Kayadu Lohar pair up in Dijo Jose Antony’s directorial ‘Pallichattambi’

Following his critically acclaimed performance in Narivetta, actor Tovino Thomas is all set to portray a powerful and grounded character in director Dijo Jose Antony’s upcoming period drama Pallichattambi. He takes on a role that delves deep into the turbulent lives of migrant farmers in Kerala’s high ranges during the late 1950s. Set in 1957–58, Pallichattambi tells the stories of their struggles, resistance, and survival during a politically volatile time.
The female lead is played by Kayadu Lohar, known for her performances in films including Dragon. Meanwhile, Dijo Jose Antony has previously directed notable films such as Queen, Jana Gana Mana, and Malayalee from India.
Pallichattambi is produced by Noufal and Brijeesh under the banner of Worldwide Films, with Thanzeer Salam and CCC Brothers serving as co-producers. The screenplay is written by veteran writer Suresh Babu, known for scripting hits such as Shikkar, Dada Sahib, and Oruthee.
