My daughter did not have cancer, we were sucked in a medical trap: Tishaa Kumar's mother

Months after the tragic death of 20-year-old actress Tishaa Kumar, her mother Tanya Singh has opened up about the real cause of her daughter’s passing. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tanya revealed that Tishaa did not die from cancer, as previously reported, but due to complications arising from a misdiagnosed autoimmune condition triggered by a vaccine at the age of 15.

"My daughter did not have cancer," Tanya wrote, addressing the misinformation surrounding Tishaa's death. "She had a vaccine at age 15 & 1/2, which possibly triggered an autoimmune situation, which was wrongly diagnosed (we did not know this at the time)."

Tanya explained how the family was unknowingly drawn into a "medical trap" and urged parents to exercise caution when dealing with medical procedures like bone marrow tests or biopsies for symptoms such as lymph node swelling. "Lymph nodes are the body's defense guards & they can also swell due to emotional trauma or a previous infection not treated fully," she explained. "Please make sure to get a second & third opinion before going in for a ‘bone-marrow’ test or a biopsy."

Tanya also reflected on the strength and resilience Tishaa displayed during her health challenges, describing her as "the bravest version of brave" and "the most fearless 20-year-old ever." Despite the difficulties, Tanya noted that Tishaa never gave in to fear or depression. "She knew that the body is a biological being for whom immunity is key, and she wanted to help spread the word through her experience of overcoming a misdiagnosis and dealing with chemo side effects with biomedicine," Tanya shared.

The grieving mother also hinted at the emotional and spiritual aspects surrounding her daughter's death, suggesting that it was influenced by factors beyond their control. "When a pure, innocent soul goes through injustice due to someone else’s bad doings, things get complicated and confusing, and suddenly it’s too late," Tanya wrote. "No matter what anyone else thinks, the truth will eventually reveal itself."

Tishaa Kumar, daughter of film producer Krishan Kumar, passed away in July 2024. Her mother Tanya Singh is the daughter of noted composer Ajit Singh and the sister of actress Nattasha Singh.
