Thalapathy Vijay's much-anticipated film ‘The Greatest of All Time’ has officially premiered on Netflix today, October 3. The film is now available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this action-packed drama features a star-studded cast, including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prasanth, Ajmal Ameer, and Sneha, among others. In addition to the main cast, the film features key roles played by Jayaram, Mohan, and Yogi Babu. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the AGS Entertainment production.

Despite widespread expectations of an extended cut for the OTT release, fans were surprised to find the theatrical version on Netflix. Many had hoped for additional content, but their hopes were dashed. Addressing the concerns, Venkat Prabhu took to social media platform X to clarify the situation. He explained, “For director’s cut lotta VFX and final work required guys!! So will talk to my producers @Ags_production and release it as deleted scenes or an extended cut in da coming future!!! Now enjoy this version!!”

Fans, who eagerly awaited the uncut version, were left disappointed but remain hopeful for its release at a later date. Earlier, Venkat Prabhu had assured fans that plans are in the works to release the extended content, either as a separate version or through additional scenes.

‘GOAT’, which features Vijay in a dual role, hit theaters on September 5 and quickly became a box-office sensation. The film, made on a staggering budget of Rs 400 crore. So far, it has grossed more than Rs 452 crore globally. 

Vijay is currently engaged in his 69th feature film, which is untitled and scheduled for release next year.
