Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT': Director Venkat Prabhu announces completion of VFX works

Director Venkat Prabhu recently took to social media platform 'X' to share the latest update about the highly anticipated film 'GOAT,' starring Thalapathy Vijay. Along with a photo, the director announced the completion of the film’s VFX work. Venkat and Vijay were in the US overseeing the VFX production.

'GOAT' is a high-budget film featuring a significant number of VFX frames. The production team collaborated with Hollywood's Lola VFX for the intricate work. Known for its contributions to blockbuster films like 'Captain Marvel,' 'Avatar,' and 'Avengers: Endgame,' Lola VFX brings extensive expertise to 'GOAT.' In the film, Vijay will portray dual roles, including that of a teenager. The team utilised de-ageing VFX techniques, commencing work even before filming began.

The movie is set for theatrical release on September 5.
