A Thai beauty queen was stripped of her crown just a day after winning, after organisers found explicit videos of her circulating online.

Suphannee “Baby” Noinonthong, 27, was crowned Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan 2026 on September 20, according to the New Straits Times. Her victory would have allowed her to compete in the national Miss Grand Thailand 2026 contest.

However, the following day she lost her title for violating her contract with the Miss Grand Thailand organisation. The breach was linked to viral clips that appeared to show her in see-through lingerie, using a sex toy, and smoking an e-cigarette.

During a live broadcast, a lawyer explained the legal implications. He asked Noinonthong if she knew her contract banned explicit photos or videos. She admitted she had not read the contract and was unaware of the rule. The lawyer further warned that she could face up to three years in prison, leaving her visibly shocked.

“I don’t want to go to jail,” Noinonthong said.

Noinonthong apologised on Facebook to the pageant organisers and her supporters, admitting she had previously taken part in nude photoshoots and videos. She explained that financial hardship had forced her into the work in order to care for her bedridden mother, who has since passed away.

According to VN Express, the former beauty queen and the provincial director of Miss Grand Thailand in Prachuap Khiri Khan appeared on a television programme on Sunday, where Suphannee pleaded for a chance to retain her crown.

A lawyer informed Suphannee that she could face up to 3 years in prison.

The 2026 Miss Grand Thailand pageant is set for March 2026 in Bangkok. The winner will go on to represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant.
