Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce marry in star-studded New York City ceremony

New York: Pop icon Taylor Swift and American football champion Travis Kelce have officially married, marking the latest milestone in their highly publicised relationship.

The couple's wedding ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, a spokesperson for Swift confirmed to PEOPLE magazine.

According to an official statement from the representative, the marriage ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler.

A prominent array of celebrities attended the event to celebrate the occasion. The star-studded guest list included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Mariska Hargitay, Peter Hermann, Ed Sheeran, Cherry Seaborn, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, The Chicks, Brad Paisley, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hugh Grant, Karlie Kloss, Joshua Kushner, Zoë Kravitz, Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, Jimmy Fallon, and Tommy Hilfiger.

The wedding festivities initiated prior to the main ceremony with a private rehearsal dinner for immediate family members and close friends, hosted at the landmark venue's Infosys Theatre.

At this time, neither Swift nor Kelce has released official photographs or commentary regarding their wedding on social media platforms.

The couple previously announced their engagement through a joint Instagram publication on Aug. 26, 2025, which featured photographs documenting their garden proposal.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," Swift wrote in the accompanying caption.

The relationship began after Kelce publicly shared on his New Heights podcast in July 2023 that he had unsuccessfully attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet inscribed with his phone number during one of her Eras Tour performances. Following his public declaration of interest, the two began dating shortly thereafter, a connection facilitated in part by Swift's mother, according to reports by People.
