Suriya sings 'The Wedding Song' from ‘Vishwanath & Sons’ and fans are loving it | WATCH

With just weeks to go before its theatrical release, ‘Vishwanath & Sons’ has dropped another glimpse; an energetic wedding anthem that sees actor Suriya singing and dancing alongside Mamitha Baiju in a colourful family celebration.

Titled ‘The Wedding Song’, the lively number was released on Saturday and is packed with festive energy, colourful visuals and plenty of dance.

The song captures the atmosphere of a grand family wedding, with Suriya and Mamitha Baiju taking centre stage. The duo's energetic dance moves and cheerful chemistry bring the celebration to life, making it a fun addition to the film's music album.

What makes the track even more special is that Suriya has sung it himself. The actor lends his voice to the upbeat number, adding a personal touch to the song and giving fans another reason to look forward to the film.

The music has been composed by National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar, while the lyrics have been written by Ken Karunas.

Interestingly, GV Prakash had hinted at this collaboration months ago. In June, the composer shared a photograph of Suriya inside a recording studio on X and revealed that the actor had recorded a dance number for the film.

Sharing the picture, he wrote, "THE ONE @Suriya_offl sir sings a dance number for #VishwanathAndSons... Written by @KenKarunaas... A #VenkyAtluri film..."

The latest song release comes just weeks before the film's theatrical debut. ‘Vishwanath & Sons’ is set to arrive in cinemas worldwide on August 14.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. It promises to blend family emotions, humour and drama, making it a wholesome entertainer for audiences of all ages.

Earlier, the makers released the teaser, which introduced Suriya's character, Sanjay Vishwanath, an international pistol shooter who continues to pursue his ambitions even after turning 40.

The teaser also hinted at the emotional layers of the story, showing the actor balancing determination with warmth and vulnerability. Venky Atluri's dialogues and Suriya's screen presence have already generated excitement among fans.

The preview also offered a first look at Mamitha Baiju, whose lively screen presence adds a fresh dynamic to the story. It further hinted at an unconventional romance with a noticeable age gap, suggesting that the relationship will be explored with emotional depth rather than treated as a gimmick.

Alongside Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, the film features Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles.

On the technical front, Nimish Ravi has handled the cinematography, while Navin Nooli is in charge of editing.
