Superstars rule social media: Mohanlal poses with Simba while Mammootty hits dubbing suite

The titans of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohanlal, have once again taken social media by storm with their latest updates. On Tuesday, Mammootty shared a behind-the-scenes look from the dubbing studio of his highly anticipated upcoming film, Patriot. Meanwhile, Mohanlal delighted fans by posting a heartwarming photograph with his pet cat. Both posts have gone viral, garnering massive engagement from fans worldwide.
The dubbing for Patriot is currently underway at Le Magic Lantern Studio, owned by veteran actress Lissy. Interestingly, Lissy had previously shared a candid photo featuring Mammootty and director Priyadarshan at the studio. Following this, Mammootty posted a picture of himself geared up for a session, captioned simply: "#Patriot Dubbing."
In the image, the megastar is seen poised before the microphone, eyes fixed on the screen as he prepares to deliver his lines. Fans flooded the comments section with well-wishes, with many expressing excitement at the prospect of hearing Mammootty’s legendary baritone in its full glory, especially since the film does not use sync sound. It is reported that Mohanlal has already completed his dubbing portions for the project.
On the other hand, Mohanlal—whose affection for animals is well-known—shared a striking photo with his cat, Simba. Appearing in his look from the tentatively titled L366 (directed by Tharun Moorthy), the actor captioned the post: "Simba doesn't just live up to his name; he defines it."
